Item FK-2C1822-CLC · FireKing
The Turtle Contour combines fire-resistant letter/legal filing with radiused edges and recessed drawer handles. It suits front offices, professional practices, and work areas where records need a dedicated storage location without an industrial-looking cabinet. FireKing specifies gypsum-blend insulation reinforced with galvanized steel, a powder-coated exterior, and a four-pin key lock. The manufacturer documents UL 72 Class 350 one-hour fire protection, separate half-hour ETL digital-media verification, and IP65 water resistance for this family. Key features: • Letter and legal filing in the selected two- or four-drawer configuration. • Recessed handles and rounded cabinet edges. • Powder-coated exterior with a SKU-specific finish. • Manufacturer-documented fire, impact, explosion, and water-resistance testing. Your selected configuration: Manufacturer model 2C1822-CLC identifies this exact item. Selected configuration: 2 Drawer - 22" Depth - Letter/Legal File. Selected finish: Light Chestnut. The selected configuration is the one associated with this SKU’s image and price. Alternative colors, drawer counts, capacities, and door styles are separate selections, not additional items supplied with this purchase. Application and selection guidance: Plan clearance for the fully extended drawer, not just the cabinet depth. Paper and digital-media ratings have different durations and test conditions. A one-hour paper rating must not be described as one-hour digital-media protection. Installation and protection planning: Before ordering, compare the selected model’s exterior dimensions, usable interior, and operating clearances with the intended location and contents. Plan the access route and follow the manufacturer’s placement, loading, and operating instructions. Fire, water, and security ratings describe different tests and are not interchangeable. Accessories, alternative locks, and interior organizers are included only when expressly listed for the selected configuration.
