Dimensions and placement: The size identified in the product name is 24x48x86. Open-wire storage: The wire format leaves openings through the shelf instead of forming a continuous solid deck. Those openings allow visibility and air movement through the storage level. When planning an installation, match the shelf to the posts, sleeves, and accessories specified for its particular series. Shelf positioning: Adjustable shelving lets the storage layout be arranged around the items being stored rather than requiring every level to remain at a fixed position. Use the adjustment information for this model when planning shelf spacing, and account for the height of the contents as well as access above them. Boltless configuration: The boltless connection format is an important part of the shelving system’s configuration. Select components by their manufacturer series and connection style, not by dimensions alone. A starter section, an extension, and an individual shelf component serve different purposes even when their nominal measurements match.
