Jaken Wire Shelf 24x36 - Black. This shelving component supports the assembly, extension, or maintenance of a storage system. Key features: • Open steel wire construction minimizes dust build-up, improves air circulation and sprinkler effectiveness, and increases visibility. • Boltless/tool-free style assembly on many Jaken models enables quick installation. • adjustable posts with 1" increments allow flexible shelf placement. • Available finishes include black powder coat, chrome, and green epoxy. • optional 5" locking swivel casters are common for mobile units. • Keywords: industrial shelving, steel storage racks, boltless shelving, warehouse racking, heavy-duty shelving. Product design and use: optional 5" locking swivel casters are common for mobile units. Construction and finish: This model is made with steel wire. The finish is black powder coat (chip/scratch resistant). Dimensions and placement: The size identified in the product name is 24x36. Open-wire storage: The wire format leaves openings through the shelf instead of forming a continuous solid deck. Those openings allow visibility and air movement through the storage level. When planning an installation, match the shelf to the posts, sleeves, and accessories specified for its particular series. Boltless configuration: The boltless connection format is an important part of the shelving system’s configuration. Select components by their manufacturer series and connection style, not by dimensions alone. A starter section, an extension, and an individual shelf component serve different purposes even when their nominal measurements match. Caster configuration: A swivel caster can turn around its mounting axis as the equipment changes direction. Its behavior differs from a fixed-direction wheel, so the stated wheel and caster arrangement matters when planning movement through aisles and around corners. Check any brake or locking details separately. Full specifications: • Size stated in product name: 24x36 • Material: steel wire • Finish: black powder coat (chip/scratch resistant) Selection guidance: Match the listed dimensions and connection style to the existing shelving system before choosing a component.
